French Restoration Period, Louis XVIII/Charles X, 1820.  Very fine clock in mercurial gilded bronze and black patinated bronze of Astronomy with signs of the Zodiac in the base, terrestrial globe flanking on the right.  Reed and acanthus gilded bronze trim and raised five pointed star dial with twist bezel intact.  Beautiful condition, silk thread.
